ResellerChoice a white label Microsoft Windows solution provider announced today they have re-designed all virtual server hosting plans running on Windows Hyper-V. Changes include greater bandwidth allotments, larger disks and included nightly offsite backups powered by Microsoft Data Protection Manager.
Data Protection Manager is an application aware enterprise backup solution that provides the ability to do full image snapshots of Hyper-V virtual servers without hibernation or downtime by utilizing its shadow copy-based block-level protection. Backups are stored offsite at their Washington Datacenter location.
When asked why they decided to offer the backup service free? Rob Conley, CEO of ResellerChoice stated “Nightly Full backups of our clients virtual servers is a service I think all customers should expect from their online service providers.”
